Nestled within the scenic Carolina Bays of Southeastern North Carolina, this premier summer camp spans more than 1,400 acres of unspoiled Long Leaf Pine forests surrounding the 35-acre Lake Katherine.

Owned and operated by the Cape Fear Council, Camp Bowers offers unforgettable experiences for Scouts of all ages. Conveniently located just a short drive from Wilmington, Fayetteville, and Raleigh, our camp features 11 fully equipped campsites—each complete with its own pavilion, flush bathrooms, and shower facilities.

Paddle across Lake Katherine in a canoe or kayak, conquer our high and low ropes courses, or test your skills at our competitive shooting sports ranges.
