Camp Bowers
Adventure is waiting at Camp Bowers, the ultimate destination for Scouts ready to learn, explore, and have fun! Each summer, Scouts from across the region gather in the Carolina Bays for a week packed with excitement, discovery, and unforgettable memories.
Earn up to eight merit badges, take part in unique programs like the Hunter Safety Certification Course, and challenge yourself on our C.O.P.E. course, 65-foot climbing tower, and 50-foot alpine tower. Cool off at the waterfront, where you can kayak, canoe, sail, or take on “Rippy World,” our floating obstacle course!
When it’s time to relax, you’ll stay in lightweight poly tents with mosquito netting and vented windows set on sturdy wooden platforms. Every campsite includes electricity, flush toilets, and a pavilion—plus access to our air-conditioned dining hall and the newly renovated Trading Post.
There’s never a dull moment at Camp Bowers! Play a round in one of our two gaga ball pits, ride your bike to your next activity, or hang out with our enthusiastic staff who bring camp to life every day.
Fully accredited by the BSA National Camp Accreditation Program, Camp Bowers delivers safe, high-quality programs and dozens of merit badge opportunities.
